Thread: Im stuck, please help

I need to write a program that reads a number entered by the user and prints that many hashes. For example I type in 4 it will output ####. Please help, I know it's a for loop I have to use because its a definite loop

R u having trouble reading numbers ?? Try java.util.Scanner ;

    public static void main(String [] args){
        Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in) ;
         while (in.hasNext()){
                int num = in.nextInt() ;
                for (int i = 0 ; i < num ; i++)
                      System.out.print(x) ;
                System.out.println() ;
        }
 
 
    }
