    Default Problem with update table after inserting new values

    Hello,

    I'm trying to write a small program where I have a JTable connected with Db.

    Connection is working but the thing which doesnt work is when I insert new variables into Jtable I can't get it refreshed.

    here is my code : Only for the Update method

    protected void Update_Table() {
    					// TODO Auto-generated method stub
    					try{
    						String update = "SELECT * FROM devices";
    					//	statUp = (Statement) con.createStatement(update);
    						ResultSet rest = statUp.executeQuery(update);
    						table.setModel(DbUtils.resultSetToTableModel(rest));
    						//DbUtils.
    					}
    					catch(Exception ex){
    						ex.printStackTrace();
    						JOptionPane.showInputDialog(null, "Couldn't create new Device");
    					}
    				}

    The problem is in DbUtils.resultSetToTableModel(rest));
    Where rest is ResultSet.

    I got several errors :

    Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem:
    	DbUtils cannot be resolved

    That error means the compiler doesn't know what DbUtils is. Did you spell it correctly? Is it properly defined somewhere? Are your imports in order?

    Hey,

    My imports seems fine. I found sth similar which I tried to do here you can see it. java - JTable setting model and preserve column formats (width, alignment, etc.) - Stack Overflow

    Imports define what is imported at compile time, and affect compilation. Exceptions occur at runtime - is the library containing DbUtils on the classpath? If so, is it the most up to date library?
