    Default Display Output

Is there a way to read the display output.
I am trying to make a program that alerts me every time i move down in the queue for a application. I couldnt find anything about my situation. Is there is way to take what is displayed on the screen and have the program print that out to me.

For example if i went from 50 in the queue to 45, it would tell me that my spot is now 45.

The Robot class has methods for capturing what is displayed on the screen.

I have looked at this but it does not seem like I would be able to take the printed text from an image and convert that into another program using the robot class

The Robot class's method would take an image of the screen, then you would need some character recognition code to scan that image and find the desired text.
