Hi,
I don't know if this is the right sub-forum,
but I was hoping to find someone with some extra spare time who is willing to help me create a plugin to help me analyze images in ImageJ.
I have no programming skills whatsoever, but I think what I want is pretty simple for someone with programming knowledge.

What I would like is a kind of ROI-manager, where I draw two lines across the image of a cell (see figure below): one across the middle (M) and one along the lenght (L). After drawing these two lines I would like the application to automatically draw a ROI-box with the half-width of 0.15*L (15% of the drawn length line) – preferably this number is adjustable so I could change the settings to get a box with the half-width of 0.20*L, or 0.10*L etc...

anyone who knows how to do this, or at least know where to start?
