Default Re: Java debugging techniques and processes

I broke out your latest post into a new thread. PM me if you think that's inappropriate.

The act of debugging usually begins with compiling, running, and then detecting bugs. Some bugs are made obvious at compile time with errors. Other bugs are runtime errors due to logic errors. The debug process for each of those areas is different. Do you have any bugs yet, either compile or runtime, to debug? If so, please post the errors, either compiler or runtime results, that you need help with.
