Default Don't know how to do make this works: SWING issue

Hello Guys! My first post here, hope you can help me out.

I've some problems to figure out how to make the underlined red part in the screenshot using Swing. So yes it's a GUI issue. Specifically I'm doing a little project about TV Series and i don't know how to show the characters' name in horizontal scrolling.

Is anyone able to show me the extends JTabbedPane about my particular problem?

If I miss something please let me know.

    Thanks!

    This is your image: screenxk.jpg

And you don't need to extend a JTabbedPane to do this.

Instead you could create a JPanel with a GridLayout(1, 0), add JLabels to it that represent the names, put it in a JScrollPane, and put the JScrollpane in the BorderLayout.NORTH position of a BorderLayout-using JPanel. Then add that JPanel to the JTabbedPane.
