    Default Compatibility Issues

    Hello respected members
    I have written a java program to perform steganography.The code works fine in my system but when I get exceptions when I try to run it on my friend's desktop.Please tell me the reason for this discrepency and possible solutions.I am running windows 7 and jdk1.6 and my friend has the same configuration.A noticeable thing is a message that is displayed "text is too long".This message is an error trapping message that I incoorporated in the code.Initially there was a logical error and I used to keep getting this message when I ran the program.However I corrected the error but the message is still displayed in my friend's system when the program runs.Kindly help

    One exception is an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException.Another is a message as I have explained above "The text is too long".

    Please copy full text of error message and paste it here. Here is a sample:
    TestSorts.java:138: cannot find symbol
symbol  : variable var
location: class TestSorts
         var = 2;
         ^
