Default How to print the day of the week from user input?

Hi I'm new to java... I've been trying to figure out how to print the day of the week from user input..not going well. I wrote in Java to calculate the numbers of days passed since the beginning of 19th century, and need to figure out the day (i got the date down). Any help would be appreciated!
