    Hello Friends,

    Here am trying to search string or date in logfile. exactly dont know how to start please help me on this.
    which technology is most advisable (servlets, hybernate or any other ) in java. Please help me on this.

    Here am trying to search string or date in logfile
    To search for a String in a file, open and read the file, parse if needed, and search for the String (see Lesson: Basic I/O (The Java™ Tutorials > Essential Classes) ). Recommendations much beyond this without guessing require more information, for example the context your application resides.
