Default Information on Java with C++ Back end. Usage of this and how difficult it is to integrate a Java module that includes a Java function that is called by a C++ API?

    Hello All,
Can someone help me out with some information on Java with C++ backend? I need to know if its possible, how often its used, and how difficult it is to integrate a Java module that includes a Java function that is called by a C++ API and displays the updated contents on its structure.

I am pretty sure the JNI method plays a role in this but I am not sure what other techniques might be used/suggested.

Can someone help me find some information on this.
Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hello richflores1

Welcome to the Java Programming Forums.

A similar thread has been started recently. Check this out:

There are a few useful links there but no one has been able to solve it 100%. Hopefully soon someone else will shed some light on this issue.
