    Default Trouble starting java web project

    Attempting to get my first java web app up.
    I'm confused a about selecting to start a "Dynamic Web Project".

    I'm incredibly new to this ide and java all together. Is this what it's talking about

    Make sure you have the Eclipse EE version - it should have a Java EE perspective (upper right - which says java in your image). Dynamic Web Project should be under Other -> Web

    Sorry, Still having trouble.
    I think the situation of how I have eclipse setup might be the issue.
    It's a portable version, does that matter?

    I downloaded "Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 7 SDK (with JDK 7u40)" from Green
    I ran "java_ee_sdk-7-jdk7-windows-x64.exe" in Red
    When I run eclipse (blue)
    I am still not able to see the Dynamic Web Project option. (purple) I checked "Project..." & "Other..."
    What can I do to make creating a new "Dynamic Web Project" happen?
