    Default Publishing a Java program

How does one create an executable program from an IDE - in particular from the Navicoder IDE?
As an absolute beginner, I can write a simple program that writes its output into the output pane of this IDE but I cannot see a matching executable file in the Projects folder (Windows Explorer)..
What do I have to do?

Java does not make "executable" files like I believe you are looking for. ie MyJavaProgram.exe, with a double click you are off in fun land. I suggest you read about the java virtual machine and jar files. I have never used your IDE, so I have litter help to offer there. Maybe someone else can give a step by step on it, however I think a few minutes face to face with google will dump a wealth of info on you.

Navicoder produces .class files. I can now run programs from the Command Prompt window:-
    ex: <path> java <path><program class file>
Unfortunately the <paths> are long and therefore a nuisance to type.

The thing is, its not just Navicoder producing .class files. That is just because it is in java. Like I suggested before in my last post, do some research on jar files. Your answer is in the search results. I know, I put it there. Go find it. Hurry along now. No more posting until you read about jar files. See you then
