Default Recognise exceptions when reading code

Can you give me any tips or tricks of how to recognise exceptions when reading code?! That would be really helpful.

Can you explain what you are trying to see in code?
To see if a method or constructor could throw an exception you have to read the API doc.
If you don't understand my answer, don't ignore it, ask a question.

Thanks, I will do that. With some codes I find it difficult to see that there is going to be an exception thrown. For example the code I have posted earlier, I would not have seen the exception.
