    Default tips for beginner programmer

    Hi guys.
    I'm beginner programmer who to become real programmer,and btw I'm CS student
    I have read an introduction of OOP by thomas wuu. it's really good book (but I've lost this book).
    but when I read this Teach Yourself Programming in Ten Years
    I decided to get in touch with other's programmer using this forum.
    can you guys can give me a tips which book is good for learning OOP or tips for beginners like me?

    starting out with java, TONY gaddis. This is a American book but one of the best out in market. Buy older version. They are cheap and practice each and every exercise in every chapters. This is how I began and it helped me lots. This will not only help you become good in java but in every OOP programming language.
