    Default Newbie wants to learn Java

    Hi everyone. Im new here, i want to learn Java programming language but i dont have a knowledge of any other programming language. Some told me to learn C and C++ befor learning Java. Pls i will appreciate your help on how i can get started on my own. Thanks.

    It doesn't *really* matter which language you learn first. Most people here would recommend Java first. Other people are going to have different opinions. But really, you might want to try the basic tutorials of each language out and see which one *you* like the best.

    I already gave you the link to the Java tutorials, and I'd recommend you start by reading through them very carefully.
