Default **Help!** Capturing external circuit data to GUI Jpanel

    Hello,

Could anyone suggest the best path to accomplish getting numerical data coming from an external 3 axis sensor to populate into a Jpanel ? I'm working on a project where I will use a 3-axis (x,y,z) sensor, and I have written a simple GUI for the project, but I don't know how to do that part.... your help would be appreciated..

I am using Java NetBeans 6.7.1

Can I use the comm API and then pass data to the panel in my GUI?

    Thanks!

I take it we are on about a joystick or something similar, I guess you could have a look into the comms api to see if that will do you any good

    Json,

    Thank you for replying!

The project involves a 3 axis digital accelerometer which passes its data to a PIC based controller board using Uart or MSSP or SPI and then finally to a Bluetooth module. I have written the skeleton GUI to receive and store the data, however, I have no handling code for anything yet. Going by the low reply count, it makes me wonder whether I can accomplish this task of receiving the data via buffers in software and then converting these numerical results to realtime graphic representations in an internal Jpanel, much like an oscilloscope except with 3 signals. Any suggestions on how to move forward?
