    Do you know a good possibly free visual SWING editor for eclipse?

    The new Eclipse Indigo release has one built-in that in my opinion is pretty good.

    It's the latest version.

    But if you want my two cents, don't use a visual gui builder until you know exactly what it's doing under the hood. Code generated by a gui builder is much harder to debug, and you have to know Swing if you want to do anything remotely advanced.

    got It. I agree with you..I think Ill stick to hand written code to undertand it!
