    Default External XML to embedded

    Hi all.

I am modifying some code that I purchased, and I am definitely just getting my feet wet with android.

This app requires an external xml file to parse the screens. Is there a way i can point the url to an xml file stored within the app?

There are a couple of folders in the res folder in Android where you can store files that the program can read. I forget the names and how to access them right now. Look at what is in the res folder and how their contents are accessed.

The assets folder can hold files to be read by the program.
If you don't understand my answer, don't ignore it, ask a question.
