I'm still new to coding I guess, but I've been flirting with it for a few years now. I've made a few websites mainly in an attempt to better understand coding, and eventually gained a decent understanding of html. I've also messed around with several programming languages and programs like VB, but when it comes to Java or C coding I just feel somehow overwhelmed and mind boggled. I've tried many times to gain a better understanding, but I think my problem is Im completely self taught and have no one of intellect to really talk to on the subject.
I've have several ideas on websites I know are a great idea, but with such a limted understanding I really have no idea how to go about creating more than a basic website, and working paycheck to paycheck I dont really have $ to pay someone to help me develop my idea, and investment is completly out the window when all you have is what sounds like a good idea you talk about.
Say I wanted to create the program Dropbox (I use them as an example because I see them as similar in terms of function as to the website I currently envision) How could an amature even go about developing their idea?
Ive tried countless online tutorials, but when the tutorial is 1000 pages, its a bit disheartening
Also: This is my first post here. I would like to thank you all in advance for your help! :)
