Launcher Downloads, but wont extract.

Hello all! I am making a custom version of the Feed The Beast launcher for minecraft, but i am having an issue that makes me wanna throw my pc out a ten story window.

What I can say for sure is that it is downloading it, but for some reason it wont extract..
Its supposed to download then extract then delete the zip.

I know this is a horrible first post, i'm just really desperate to get this working..

The reason I'm not posting the code here, is there is way too much, so zipping it should be best?

If there is too much to post there is too much to work with. Strip out the non related code and post a small complete program the compiles, executes and shows the problem.
