Have you tried the String class's replace() method?

Top right hand corner of the page, click "My Profile"
Verify your login info.
On the left side of the screen, to the right of your name, should be a marker or crayon shape icon. It says "Edit profile" in the popup when hovered over. Click that.
From there you will either be able to edit the name and save changes, or it is not possible to change, in which case you would have to create a new profile, or seek help higher up the chain. (I have not been around here that long myself)
