Greetings- who should I pay to teach me how to build apps on the iPhone?

Joining the forum to add to the wealth of knowledge the Internet can provide for a curious java programmer beginner. I'm looking at e rolling into college once again with the idea that I would to have platform to build apps for iPhone. Any suggestions on where to get the best training?
