How to know number of user downloading an application?

i would like to know how many users are downloading my application

Meaning:

abc.com/winamp.exe

i wants to know how many users downloaded this application???

Any suggestions???

Do you have your application uploaded onto your website?

There are lots of scripts out there that can track how many times a link has been clicked / downloaded.

I'd suggest using a pre-coded script unless you really want something in Java?

Is your server windows or linux? It will make a difference to what scripts you can run.
