[ASK]How to use JProgressBar for running Task / method()?
Maybe colleagues there is one knows how to use JProgressBar for running Task/method()? For this that I know JProgressBar used with a manualy create count repetitions / timer, I think it was not effective. Examples of cases the application is to load data from a large enough database with a LoadData() method for example, which does not take a minute, whether colleagues there is one knows how to use JProgressBar to let the user know the status of the LoadData() method that is running?
Best & Regrads.

Re: [ASK]How to use JProgressBar for running Task / method()?
If the method or task has a measurable goal, for example to load or search 30,000 records, and the progress towards that goal can be measured at discrete points, then that progress could be used to update the progress bar as currentStatus / 30,000. A Timer might still be used to take those discrete measurements at meaningful intervals.
