JDK and Textpad Downloads for Mac Users
Does anyone know how to work JDK (Java) for Mac and download Textpad onto a macbook? I am currently taking a programming class online and the class requires to download these two software. I was able to download the JDK but have no clue how to use it, and Textpad is not compatible with OX S, according to textpad.com.
Anyone out there have a solution to how i can get textpad?--- theres gotta be an alternate.
Please help!!!

The JDK should be installed by default on mac. Open the Terminal and type 'javac -version', it should tell you which version is installed. I believe Textpad is also installed in the Application folder (or something comparable is)
