Newbie where do i start from. Experts help

Just joined the forum this morning, i have no skills on this Java Mid stuff. How do i start, where do i get IDE? Pls post useful tips and Links. Thanks in anticipation

There are free available tutorials on the web. Your best bet to learn the syntax and basics of java is to fork out some $ for a book or so. There is no way you'll learn proper coding for free off the web, unless you pay for a java book or a college course.
