This might not be a right place to ask. I have a good experience as a java programmer with 4 years of experience in it. Now I wanted to move to android and I have never created anything of android or never used it before. With my knowledge of java how hard would it be to create or develop android application?
Re: Eclipse Android
Developer.android.com is the place to go to for the SDK, Eclipse plugins and tutorials and other explanatory documentation. It sounds like you have enough Java to avoid getting lost. Having made Java applets is useful because Android apps use a similar style with "milestone" methods and all sorts of resources supplied by the runtime environment. But that's just a bonus for the long of tooth and grey of beard who remember Java applets.
